Clone4.me
WHY CLONE4.ME EXISTS

Familiar software.
New possibilities.

Clone4.me helps people turn “I want a tool like that” into a concrete brief for an original application.

What we provide

A directory of 80 AI-assisted, curated build prompts. Each brief covers a focused product goal, design, features, technology, data, scope boundaries, and acceptance checks. You can customize individual sections without losing the rest of the specification.

The prompts are free to copy and download. Customizations are stored in your browser, with no account or cloud synchronization. Markdown downloads make your brief portable.

Who this is for

Independent makers, people learning to build with AI, and small teams exploring custom tools. The emphasis is an achievable first version for a specific workflow, rather than recreating a commercial platform feature for feature.

How the briefs are prepared

We use public product information to identify general workflows, then create original, AI-assisted briefs with explicit data and verification requirements. References link to official product pages or clearly labeled historical references. We review scope and run automated checks for prompt assembly and customization.

We do not claim that every generated application has been built or independently tested. The coding agent and builder must verify the resulting implementation, its security, and its suitability for real use.

Reference tools and originality

Product names and icons identify reference software. Their trademarks belong to the respective owners. Clone4.me is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies. Our prompts request original code, identity, layout, wording, and appropriately licensed assets.

How we plan to support the directory

Prompts remain free. We have opened clearly marked ad spaces for relevant builder tools and a sponsorship inquiry page. Relevant sponsor or affiliate placements can support the directory and are labeled clearly. Ads remain outside copied prompts and do not change the catalog order.

Any future affiliate placement will disclose potential commission. Learn about advertising on Clone4.me.

Privacy and portability

Prompt edits and your preferred directory view are stored in this browser’s localStorage, with no set expiry. They belong to this browser, device, and site address. They are saved when you finish the editor using Save, Copy, or Download. Clearing site data, ending a private browsing session, or browser storage policies can remove them. Download important briefs as Markdown backups.

The local MVP has no analytics or ad tracking. Clone requests are stored in the site’s private admin inbox. The clone request form submits your idea and optional existing prompt directly to Clone4.me. An optional reply email lets us contact you about your request. Request form text is not saved between visits.
